Education is the instrument per excellence for personal and national development worldwide.  The quality of education ultimately determines the quality of development.  This is why ERNWACA, Nigeria places premium on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.  Consequently, the International Journal of Education and Sustainable Development [IJESD] publishes empirical reports on quality research works focused on the sustainable development goals.  It is our way of contributing to the speedy realization of the SDGs, which is quite needful for the survival of mankind and sustenance of life on earth.
